2006 Avon Road Race
Directions: From Minneapolis, take Hwy 94 west 80 miles to Avon, MN exit. Go north 8 blocks thru town to school.   Men Cat 1/2/3 : $400 paying 10 places deep All other Categories paying 3 deep with Gift certificates from the Bicycle Chain Medals will be awarded to top 3 Juniors  
Registration8:30 AM to 9:30 AMat Avon Elementary School 410 Avon AveRace Entry Fee : $25 Juniors : $10All racers must have a USCF license. Non-licensed riders may buy an one day or annual license at the race.All races held under permit of USCF.All USCF rules apply $25 entry fee includes USCF insurance coverage Centerline violations will result in rider disqualification!!! Roads will be open to traffic. Course Description : 32 miles of rolling terrain with a couple challenging climbs. Neutral rolling start from Avon Elementary School. Finish will be on Cty 156 just before Cty Rd 9 Race Loop Cty Rd 9 S to Cty Rd 42 W to Cty Rd 161 S to Cty Rd 23 W to 223rd Ave to Cty Rd 40 to Cty Rd 41 N to Cty |

For Beginner Racers there is a Cat 5 mens field and a Cat 4 womens field.
This is a ROY (Rider of the Year) Event.
Men 1/2/3 race will be Cat 1-2 ROY
Men 3/4 race will be ROY 3 & ROY 4 (scored separately)
Masters 35+ race will be Masters 35+ ROY
Women 1/2/3 race will be Women 1/2 ROY and Women 3 ROY (scored separately)
Masters 4/5 30+ will be Masters 4/5 30+ ROY
Masters 50+ will be Masters 50+ ROY
Men Cat 5 will be Cat 4-5 ROY
Women Cat 4 will be Cat 4 ROY
Juniors will be Junior ROY
